Plank s tier easy to gain strength. Falling sun has less reach requires dex. Katana f tier - useless after any engagement lasting longer than usual and too low damage to eat through enemies to get to bowman. All this can be summed up in 1 thing time to KO. Faster KO means you can melee the ranged people which in 99% of kenshi no matter your stats ranged is OP. Aka close the distance. That being said quick death and ease of leveling up to plank is current top S tier. Nothing comes close. Coolness factor theres lots better options. Also blunt damage is op many in comments mentioned this.

Yeah, I got pissed and immediately left taking a break since right before winter about to get my first harvest and for some fucking reason my people harvest all the shit and put it in nowhere. It just disappears. Couldn’t find it in my farmhouse my granary none of that shit they just shoved all the grain up their ass.

rimworld is such a good game it’s a pure sandbox where you create your own story every new game i love it.

i turned the zed spawn multiplier up to 3x and that was a massive mistake, walk out of the house and die to a horde of a thousand zombies.

I have found swimming speed is massively affected by swim skill, like an over 10 times speed difference, to the point where swimming can be faster then running for some characters, witch on note of leveling it seems to level very fast compared to athletics, but notably enemies like crab and beak things may chase in the water quite a bit with low swim skill they will catch you, with high skill they never will, in regards to small rivers to avoid water enemies with low swim skill going threw the river will often do nothing but have everything catch you faster, with high skill you can escape very fast as soon as they enter the water.

Late to the party i know but, the Entrenching Shovel can be used to dig graves and if you have the Spear Traps mod installed then this shovel is super useful. Also the two new shovels are great because you can convert them into either an Axe or Metal Spear with a Hand File and Saw. If you have a mod that let's you make shovels installed as well then you have a fairly reliable stream of Axes for Wood Cutting and Durable Spears for combat
